Dear TS-JAC (Telangana Students Joint Action Committee):
Yesterday, P Chidambaram talked of more consultations and more consensus building. Though he had earlier made a strong case for a separate Telangana on 9th December 2009, he has gone back on that statement because of the agitations of Samaikya Andhra. This change in the stance is a direct result of show of strength of our neighbors who don’t want to give up Telangana. They will continue to resort to all kinds of tricks to besmirch Telangana Movement so that Center doesn’t carve a new state of Telangana. This is not the first time they have done this. Even during 1955-56, they have lobbied hard in New Delhi giving many reasons why a separate Telangana should not be formed, including the hypothesis that it would be dominated by Muslims, and that it would be a stronghold for Communist Party. Now, they are doing the same.
The current Telangana Movement is being characterized as a Naxal movement or a militant movement in order to completely eliminate the chances of creation of Telangana. Anti-Telangana forces have metamorphosized their opposition from the fight for a United Andhra, then to fight for Hyderabad, and now it is a portrayed as fight for national security.
What should we do now?
1. Intensify the agitation. There is no turning back now. We can’t wait for another fifty three years to get Telangana. Don’t stop. Don’t give in. Carry on the agitation – more intensely and more fiercely. Use Non-cooperation as the tool.
a. Tell your cadre not to make irresponsible statements. During Garjana, someone talked about kicking out settlers from Hyderabad. When such statements are made, only those statements are highlighted by the media and will be used against the whole Telangana Movement. Even people like me will start getting fears that tomorrow you will also kick me out because I will be first in line to criticize the newly formed Telangana’s government and administration. There is a greater need to keep a tight check on all statements made by all Telangana agitators. For that there needs to a training, a pamphlet on guidelines on how to talk and what to talk.
b. Tell your cadre not to indulge in any kind of violence. Right now, we are being characterized as Taliban, Al Qaeda and Naxalites with only one aim - To showcase that we are a militant movement. That way they can stop Telangana Movement completely as a threat to national security. We shall not give them a chance to characterize us that way. Use the methods prescribe by Gandhi, use non-violence, use non-cooperation. If they think we are militants and naxalites, then let them arrest entire 4 Crore population. Let us all go to jails en masse.
2. Say No to consensus. Say Yes to referendum. When was the last time someone who stole a golden goose from the neighbor gave it up voluntarily? Why will Andhra give up Telangana? Why does anyone think that there will be consensus in Andhra Pradesh on Telangana issue? We just talked and talked for the last sixty years. Nothing came out of those talks. That’s because Andhras are not really keen on giving up Telangana, no matter what. And what we want is a separate Telangana, no matter what. There’s a deadlock. Say no to agreements, say no formulas, say no to supervisory committees, say no to consensus building. None of them have yielded results for Telangana people.
a. Isn’t it funny that P Chidamabaram is asking the opinion of political parties in Andhra Pradesh instead of asking the representatives of each region irrespective of political parties? That would have been truly democratic.
b. Instead say Yes to referendum. Force the center to hold a referendum. If it is not feasible to hold it with people of Telangana, then hold it with elected members of Telangana, MPs, MLAs, MLCs. Ask them if they want Telangana. Why should you ask Andhras if they want to give up Telangana? It’s like taking a referendum in Britain to ask if India should be given Independence.
3. Educate other Indians on Telangana Movement. Spread the word to everyone outside Andhra Pradesh. Use every possible media outlet to make a strong and cogent case for Telangana so that the following myths are shattered.
a. That Telangana is a new movement.
b. That Telanganas are doing this only to get the new city of Hyderabad.
c. That Telangana Movement is creation of few petty politicians to grab power.
d. That Telangana Movement is a product of regional chauvinism.
e. That Telangana Movement will give growth to Maoist Movement.
f. That Telangana Movement is infiltrated by Maoists.
g. That Telanganas will beat up or kill Andhra people once the state is formed.
h. That Telangana people are uncivilized, unreasonable, and violent.
There is no way we can get Telangana unless we sell out story to everyone in India. We have to make every Indian understand our plight. We have to lobby hard starting today.

Sujay,
ReplyDeleteI realized how much you are putting in to support the seperate statehood. I wish you lot of energy, health and peace of mind to provide such great ideas for telangana movement.
Sujay
ReplyDeleteIf you are so passionate. why dint you work in the past to uplift the telangana people.
You are a hypocrite aren't you.
Srepen,
ReplyDeleteYou can not criticize some one with there past. Gautam Budda took one night to realize the truth, Warlord Ashoka changed to a peaceful person in one day. The same way everyone has there day to realize the truth, you can not judge a person with there past, either it is Sujai or it is KCR or any one.
Thanks Sujai,
ReplyDeleteI was hardcore Samykya andhra guy till the time Chidambaram's first statement on Dec09. Infact I was sad that day that our state is going to divide soon. That day I tried searching internet looking for the cause of Telangana Movement and I found wikipedia and this blog. Now I am a pro-telangana guy as I know now that it is not a KCR drama, it came from the people. Thanks Sujay for giving us good info.
Thank you Kiran.
ReplyDeleteYour words a source of inspiration.
Srepen,
ReplyDeleteI didn't do anything in the past to uplift Telangana people but that doesn't detain me from being passionate about Telangana. I don't even belong to Telangana region. I am from Rayalaseema.
Now give me *one good* reason why I shouldn't be passionate about it? Simply labeling people as 'hypocrites' will not do. Comeup with something that makes sense.
Bro, I bow you for your relentless efforts in supporting the cause of Telangana, in educating the unknown and in fighitng the tirade and mockery of ceratin morons. We are up against a very strong, powerful group which is trying all out to supress the wish of Telangana people once again. This is the culmination of Telangana movement. We shall not let go off it now.
ReplyDeleteOh what the hell ???????? YES we are terrorists / naxalists/ maoists if that is what makes you guys happy to think of. Thank you for your BS concern but please do the honors of getting the hell out of here ASAP. Let us telanganaites live in peace....will ya ?
ReplyDeleteJai Telangana!
ReplyDeleteCreate a model State that everyone in India will look upto.
The Andhra State will also be more manageable and another model State and a capital will come up because the two people will work together... after the current heat and dust settles down. No hate please.
Telangana Our Dream and Destiny
ReplyDeleteThe writing on the wall is clear, Telangana the 29th state of India is awaiting its birth. While we are lucky to be here when this long cherished day comes. Let us remember those who laid down their lives for Telangana, the 390 students who were shot dead and the countless others who carried aloft the Telangana flame for the last 50 years. Telangana diehards like Pratap Kishore, EV Padmanabham, Vandematram Ram Chander Rao and countless others. Pratap Kishore the founder of Telangana Praja Samiti was the ideologue who ignited the movement in 1968. Pratap Kishore as the General Secretary of the TPS kept alive the Telangana issue by organizing numerous area wise marches, meetings, and conventions in Warangal and Hyderabad. In 1987 he along with four others walked from Hyderabad to Delhi to meet Rajiv Gandhi and apprise him of the need for a separate state. A ritual which the Telangana Praja Samiti follows to date is observing November 1 as a day of mourning with fasting and prayers at the Telangana Martyrs Memorial in front of the AP assembly.
There are many unsung heroes like Pratap Kishore, who are not here today to see their lives work being fulfilled. We are the favored ones and will have to answer our children and our fathers if we falter now. Let us not let go of the momentum and keep the pressure on, there are many small ways in which we can compel the creation of Telangana state
1. Refuse to pay state tax as this is imposed by the AP Govt, which we do not recognize
2. If you are a police officer refuse to arrest or entertain complaints against Telangana demonstrators
3. If you are a government servant working in the registrars office, refuse to register any property in the name of a person other than from Telangana
4. If you are recruiting for any post in Telangana, reject any person not from Telangana
5. Make your purchases from shops and establishments that support Telangana
6. Boycott all papers and channels that fail to report on the movement for Telangana
7. And lastly let us be alert and prempt any moves by KCR to do a M.Chenna Reddy act
Telangana is ours and we shall achieve it

Sujai,
ReplyDeleteIf you guys seriously think that Hyd is flooded with non TG people then why did your leaders agree to shift the capital from Kurnool to Hyd in the first place. Like how guys asked for reservations to locals you guys should have also put restrictions on land purchases in Hyderabad. Did you guys think Hyderabad would be part of TG state so naively?
Krishna R
Krishna R,
ReplyDeleteTelangana movement true objective is not about the settlers, but about the rightful share in every matter. We do not worry if some one migrate to T area, but we worry if he grabs our share of pie illegally(like govt. jobs). And please do not talk about new agreements/reservations, there are so many old agreements/reservations which are never honored by Andhra. (
ReplyDeleteDid you guys think Hyderabad would be part of TG state so naively?
Hyderabad will always be a part of TG geographically.
Politically, it may get delayed by a few yrs... Afterall, greedy Andhras have an eye on it.
How do the andhras think Hyderabad can be theirs so naively ?
Do you think it is fun living in a land-locked city or state where all national highways can be blocked? How do you think the Indian govt. took over Hyderabad state? Do you think the TG residents will let a Hyderabad city survive without engulfing it?
If home ministry is smart, they know that they cannot 'protect' a city like its on the border... hence, they will do what is right for national security... i.e. not to naively challenge Telangana's Hyderabad.
Indeed, you serve your country poorly if you do so by suppressing your conscience in favor of the law because your country needs consciences more than it needs conscienceless robots. --- Henry David Thoreau
ReplyDeleteA Call for Civil Disobedience in Telangana...
Stop paying taxes.
Stop paying electricity bills.
Stop paying for transportation.
Stop paying for water.
Stop paying property taxes.
Stop paying your bank loans.
Doing this for just a month will bring the whole state to a crawl.
"Educate other Indians on Telangana Movement"
ReplyDeleteKudos! That's the way to go... That would help build consensus in support of your cause. That will also help bring amicable separation (if at all).
"Say No to consensus. Say Yes to referendum"
Talking about referendum is not practical because it will bring new headaches to the center and I dont think they will take that route. Political consensus involving both the interested parties is the only way to go. Either that or give super mandate in 2014 (Or even earlier whenever that happens) to TRS or any political outfit with single point agenda of separate state of Telangana. By now, you have learnt the lesson that Congress or TDP cannot deliver because their loyalties are divided. If that happens, people of rest of AP will have no option but to 'let go'. Please dont talk about history and TPS, you can be more calculated this time.
"Intensify the agitation"
Do not call for bandhs/ street protests/ rail rokos etc. Don't resort to bullying by fasting or some other tricks. You can keep your movement on by distributing pamphlets or silent gatherings etc. Please dont disrupt business.
Sujai, I appreciate your opinion.
Dear Sujay:
ReplyDeleteLike few friends here I was a strong believer in united Andhra, but post Dec 9th events in Seema Andhra region and some ( 2 weeks) home work on Telangana had completely changed or transformed my views or thinking etc ( same with most of my family members), since last couple of weeks I have done quite a bit of reading on Telangana I am shocked with the facts, betrayal and finally the injustice done to Telangana.
It’s surprising and sad that though I from Secunderabad Cantonment Area but didn’t felt close to Telangana, for me it was AP then India, but post Sep 9th I can lecture or educate the facts, history, injustice that had been done for Telangana in last 5 decades. In short I am in shock…the true spirit or reasons behind raising voices for the separate state are called as Maoists etc it’s absolutely an insult to people like us.
Also would like to mention that since Sep 9th I am hooked to Telugu News Channels ( TV9, TV5, iNews, HMTV, ABN, ETV, MAHA, Sakshi ) day and night, it’s very sad and unfortunate that none of the channels have any data or statistics on PRO or ANTI Telangana, all they are doing is inviting politicians like Jivan Reddy, Sanapaneni Rajkumari etc, intellectuals Prakash, Srinivas etc JAC students who are knowledgeable but sadly very poor (articulate) spokespersons ( Ex: Vidyarti Garjana) other then provocative statements nothing much.
Instead of educating or conveying true or correct message, these debates or talk shows are triggering regional provocations and in turn hatred, in short have became battlegrounds…am sure an ordinary person either in AP or India will understand when true facts are shown or presented for the separate Telangana and I believe TV is the best place…
Though there is talk that media is biased towards one region but honestly it didn’t appeared to me, only sad part is they don’t have quality content. TV is the mass media and highly reachable, would love to hear how we can convey the same (TRUE) facts mentioned on the websites to TV media on Telangana, I enquired with some production companies but they don’t have vision for quality content;
Please share some ideas how can we can present the Telangana issue to media or if anyone is ready or can give pointers to quality content makers I am open to talk and spend time…
Finally my dear friend and brother Sujay I am loss of words to convey how much appreciation I have for your writings…keep up the great work !!!

Pl remember that if Telangana ppl were forced into AP, Andhra ppl also were forced to.
ReplyDeleteWhich was the last movement before the present one? 1972 Jai Andhra movement. Meaning that at that point of time even Andhras didn't want to stay in AP. It was forced to.
Did any leader at the time crave for Hyd? NO leader at that point, ever claimed Hyd as they had nothing to do with it. Had the state divided then itself, Andhra by virtue of its fertile lands & enterprising people would have been one of the most prosperous states now. Hyd had Charminar, Golconda & was "once upon a time" the richest, but it didn't matter to Andhras because they felt they never contributed to it.
Instead most of the funds in United AP, got diverted to Hyd, we have IIIT, IIT, ISB, Hi-tech city(you name anything that we can be proud of as recent achievement to showcase) all here, & it has everything to do state's budget being unevenly distributed here with the agenda that it would help create world-class Hyd, inviting more funds to AP through various industries.
We were just at the threshold of entering a new phase of development & become more prosperous when all this has happened pushing us back several years back.
If Hyd is such hot property today,(as against 1969/72)its because of the tremendous growth of industries in & around this area. Its because of Hitech city which was build from treasury of united AP.
Andhras have lost so much too from this association. What amount have telanganas contributed to Vijaywada & Vizag compared to Andhra's contribution in Hyd? I see virtually no telangana presence in Andhra areas, whereas in Hyd we have certain pockets which consist almost entirely of Andhras.
Consider KPHB. It was a remote suburb area of Hyd even 10 yrs back. Now its one among costliest. Andhras have toiled to make these lands costly. Their cost didn't arise overnight. It rose because of hardwork.
To redistribute wealth, one has to create it first. We created it. Now, one can come & through force take away from us the credit.
We have invested too much in Hyd for sake of united AP, so its highly difficult to leave it.
Telangana region is on upper lands. Does water flow from lower land to upper land? Vidarbha has similar problems. Nature is the culprit & not people for such discrimination. Ganga flows throughout most of north, yet, it gives the most fertile land in Bangladesh. Who designed it that way? Nature.
What have people of Andhra got to do with something that nature has designed? Surely its a bit far fetched to blame most of your ills to Andhras. What have they done to you in your day-to-day life?
Don't imagine that only telangana lost because of AP, Andhra lost more as Hyd became limelight instead of Vizag/Vijaywada. Now Telanganas can happily keep for themselves Hyd, while Andhras have to pay for the folly of being forced into AP.
Remove Mumbai & Pune, Maharasthra will crumble down. Remove Chennai, TN will crumble down. So you've struck masterplan to crumble Andhras.
Dear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteAndhras have lost so much too from this association. What amount have telanganas contributed to Vijaywada & Vizag compared to Andhra's contribution in Hyd? I see virtually no telangana presence in Andhra areas, whereas in Hyd we have certain pockets which consist almost entirely of Andhras.
1. Though you have moved to Hyderabad and reside in KPHB, your loyalties are STILL with 'Andhra region' and not just the 'Andhra way of life'
2. You believe that Only Andhras 'built' Hyderabad. FYI... Andhras were allocating budgets to drive away pigs in Kurnool in their erstwhile 'Andhra State' between 1953 to 1956. They tried hard to get the ready-built Hyderabad. Hyderabad was the 2'nd best city being considered as second capital of India after 1948.
3. You believe that Andhras were forced to merge with Telangana. Wrong. Andhras lobbied hard in Delhi as they had their eye on the crown Jewel of Nizams state... HYDERABAD.
4. You believe that Jai Andra movement was for a separate state. WRONG. It was about abolishing mulki rules and Gentleman's agreements... as they wanted MORE and MORE political and economic control over Hyderabad.
5. You believe that Telanganas didn't contribute to Andhra region. FYI... Telangana was a surplus state in 1956. Telangana had the railways, road transportation etc... Major projects held post 1956 after the merger ONLY FAVOURED the andhra region, leaving the rest of the state dry. Wasn't that telangana's contribution to Andhra? Dont you think Telangana people have a right over the grains in Andhra?
6. Lastly, you believe that Telangana people didn't migrate to Vizag/V-patnam as they are not good at business. WRONG. Many personal experiences of my family revolved around investing in Andhra and losing out... because the localites there are very terrible at welcoming business from outside. They dwell in supremacist pride and migrants cannot survive in hostile environments.
7. lastly, you believe that formation of telangana will 'hurt' andhras... contrary to that, Andhra may be flourishing in wealth in 5 yrs after separation.
It is true that lots of people from Andhra region migrated to Hyderabad, built houses, invested in real-estate and braught up their kids here. But, which of these activities are considered 'Building' Hyderabad?
You were merely uprooting yourself for a better life in a city... and you got a pretty good deal.
Why cry? Why are Andhras such cry-babies?
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteIf you worry about the Hyderabad, in that case why don't you say your movement as 'We want Hyderabad Movement' instead of 'Samaykya Andhra' movement. Before talking about how much you loose with separate Telangana, you should have thought about how much T people lost in five decades because of the Andhra betrayal. I am not talking about funds or water or anything which do not have proper statistics but govt. jobs has clear statistics. Can you ask your leaders to hire immediately around 2laks T people for govt. jobs? Before talking about your lose first think about the others who already lost so much.
Another thing, when central agreed for separate T on Dec09, you should have demanded a good package to create your own capital city instead you stopped central to continue with separate telangana.
Do not take whole credit for developing HYD, 10 years back as you said, real estate is poor in HYD as well as Bangalore and many other cities, it is boomed because if the IT but not because of the Andhra people in HYD or Bangalore.
They didn't get saperate Andhra because their demands are fulfilled that day so they withdrawned from movement. They didnt ask for HYD that time because they know it is not belongs to them.
If whole Telangana is on upper land how come around 60% of Krishna and Godavari flow in Telangana?
It is funny that you are saying investing in a city is like contributing to that city. No foolish industrialist will invest in a city where he do not see any benefit. Andhra people saw the opportunity in HYD so they invested as well as in Bangalore too.
By the way who is asking you to leave HYD when Telengana state formed?
Before you blaming T, you must blame leaders/people/who ever andhraites for contributing in the betrayal to Telangana. If they have acted with honest then today you do not see this day. Like if someone lost there limb in Pakistan because of USA drone attacks, they should blame there own govt/terror leaders but not the USA.

ReplyDeleteIf you are so proud of your Andhra pride why dont your put your name to your comments so that other readers can direct their comments without confusion. You are a pathetic looser who do not even have confidence to put a name across your comment and you claim andhrites have developed KPHB, Hyderabad and bla bla ..
Please check the facts. Hyderabad was the fifth largest city at the time of independence. It had 2 airports even before independence.
Recently in last 8 years HUDA lands to the tune of 20,000 crores have been sold and are diverted to the developement of the area around the Kadapa district.
So I would say Hyderabad had infact lost lot of valuable property and exploited by Andhrites.
We could have added so many beautiful projects like Metro rail etc to hyd with that money.
If your are so proud of your hard work and confident of developing the towns in Andhra, who is stopping you. Please go ahead and develop your towns but do not make false claims that Andhrites developed Hyderabad.

ReplyDeleteSujai,
ReplyDeleteGo through the content given at
http://www.myteluguroots.com/chapter_19.html
The reasons given by you and others for the formation of a separate state are questionable after looking at this information. I hope you have the patience to go through the content in its entirety.
Thanks
Sneha
According to the then Deputy Chief Minister J. V. Narasinga Rao, hailing from Nizama Telangana, there were 107,000 non-gazetted employees in the Nizam Telangana region in 1969. Out of these, about 4.5% were nonmulkis 1,600 were teachers, 1,800 were nurses, 400 were stenographers, and the remaining few came from other departments.
ReplyDeleteBy 1969, scores of 'Andhras' who migrated to Telangana were already considered 'local' due to their residency in the region for 15 yrs.
Hence, the statistics above are skewed.
Added, there was a lot of 'corrpution' in counting out the locals from non-locals.
The 1969 Telangana agitation had good reasons. 360 people dont lose lives over nothing. It was comparable to the Jalian wala bagh massacre.
The above excerpt is from Nalamootu Chakravarthy's book.
ReplyDeletePlease note the key words in the above phrase: non-gazetted employees
People can pick up statements that present 'selective' data and present it as the WHOLE data. That doesn't change things on ground.
With that background, let us now delve into the bloody fight for the separate Telangana state that was fought for less than 5,000 non-mulki jobs. In other words, the issue affected a miniscule 0.033% of the approximately 1.5 crore people living in the Nizam Telangana region.
ReplyDeleteMr. Nalamotu Chakravarthy,
Elections are held in our country for the lok sabha, where 545 members are elected out of 100 crores. That is a miniscule 0.0000545% of the population.
How many jobs vs. population is irrelevant...
Your analogy is on flimsy grounds.
Added, an agreement needs to be upheld. It is the law. Breaking it means breaking the alliance.
5% commission on a land-deal through corruption cannot be dismissed away saying its just 5%. The key word here is 'Corruption'.

That link is hilarious, I too can makeup numbers so that Telangana can be shown very very low than rest of andhra. If above data is true why cant Govt. release such data to public?
Why no Andhra guy talks about unimplemented 610 GO? Is that GO-610 also a lie from Telangana?
By the way, for other pro-T guys, no need to read that link, it is all about Prof. Jaysankar/TRS and there claims but not about actual T problems.
It is true that lots of people from Andhra region migrated to Hyderabad, built houses, invested in real-estate and braught up their kids here. But, which of these activities are considered 'Building' Hyderabad?
ReplyDeleteHow else do you build a city? My working hard and spending this money these people saw to that jobs are generated, businesses are thriving.
By spending on their kids education they supported the private education system.
These kids grew up and provided a knowledge pool that contributed that contributed to further growth of Hyd.
Thats how development works. Everyone works to bring up a great family and there by develops the region he is living in and lay foundation to its future.
And do you think all the industries that central govt established would have been there in Hyd if the state was not united? The central govt would have obviously tried to reduce the amount of investment in Hyd because it has one more capital city(whatever city in rest of AP) to develop. And people of Telangana though were rich(according to you) were uneducated(according to sujai) would anyway had to depend on people outside of telengana like the arabs. The arabs have oil but have to depend on the west for technology and east for labor. So the jobs would have obviously gone to non-telengana people. And only the elite in Telangana who were rich to start with would have developed.
When it came to toughness, Indira Gandhi was unlike her father Nehru. She displayed an uncanny ability to understand the separatist leaders’ psychology. She adamantly refused to give in, even when leaders threatened her with violence in the region and made good on their words. She did not flinch when the Nizam Telangana and Kosta regions erupted like a volcano.
ReplyDeleteMr. Nalamotu Chakravarthy,
In your praise for Mrs. Gandhi, you referred to Telangana in 1969 as 'Nizam Telangana' in your sentence above.
but... you referred to Andhra as 'Kosta' instead of 'Cirkar Andhra'.
WHY?
Why doesn't Telangana deserve to be referred to as Telangana instead of 'Nizam Telangana'?
This discrimination in your eyes is just one of the things we Telangana people hate.
'Cirkar', 'Nizam' and 'Ceded'.... Please stop abusing regions with those words. If you truly care for 'Telugu pride'.

ReplyDeleteTELANGANA TODAY WANTS FREEDOM AND DEVELOPMENT. IT DOESN'T CARE FOR UNITY OF PEOPLE SPEAKING A LANGAUGE... SIMPLY PUT, WHEN THE LANGUAGE DOESN'T FEED THEM, THEY DONT CARE!

We need to water it to keep it alive!!

ReplyDeleteTelugu tribe today stands at a crossroads. Next few months will decide the fate of our race.
Yes. It is confirmed! It is indeed a tree trunk, a nalla moddhu (nalamotu).
The first sentence tells it all. Is Telugu a tribe or a race? Or is it a language? Or is it a payasam?
Andhra people and leaders are on a massive "accounting" project... to show how piss poor Andhra's are compared to the Bill Gates' in Telangana.
ReplyDeleteGuess who got awarded the project? Their very own Satyam!! Which has done a commendable job with their own accounting!
Kiran,
ReplyDeleteI too can makeup numbers so that Telangana can be shown very very low than rest of andhra.
You need not worry about making up numbers. There are already people who did that. You can find tons of such numbers on all the pamphlets being distributed in Telengana and available on this blog.
Shankar Said: "Mr. Nalamotu Chakravarthy,
ReplyDeleteIn your praise for Mrs. Gandhi, you referred to Telangana in 1969 as 'Nizam Telangana' in your sentence above.

He used 'Nizam Telangana', because according to him Telangana refers to all of the Telugu speaking land which is all of AP.
You are too blinded by your perceived notions to understand such nuances.
@Manohar
ReplyDelete" He used 'Nizam Telangana', because according to him Telangana refers to all of the Telugu speaking land which is all of AP."
Good Lord ! You are such a confused soul Mr.Manohar. Nalamotu referred to Nizam Telangana in view of entire AP ?? Really ??? Ok...now this guy can be ignored and so are all his replies. Next plz..
Sorry to barge in a serious discussion going on here. Many interesting comments over here but one genuinely funny one by Anonymous - "Consider KPHB. It was a remote suburb area of Hyd even 10 yrs back. Now its one among costliest. Andhras have toiled to make these lands costly. Their cost didn't arise overnight. It rose because of hardwork. "
ReplyDeleteWow!! Terrific. :-)
Wow, looks like the crazy hate campaign against Andhra people has reached new levels. It is very similar to Nazi hate campaign against Jews. There is only one root cause for poverty and suffering of Telangana - Andhra. If you eliminate them, the world would be a perfect place. This is the message conveyed by the awsome Vidyarthi GARGANA. Look it up if you dont believe me.
ReplyDeleteAndhras are responsible for Telangana poverty and Nizam is responsible for greatness of Telangana (TRS leaders opinion)? Really, all you guys are buying into this? Go read your history folks - Nizam is responsible for horrendous backwardness of the region because he imposed Urdu (banned Telugu and English) and treated people like dogs through the village Doralu. Now, the same doralu (KCR and gang) tell you that Andhras are responsible for your poverty and Nizam was great...and you guys readily and blindly follow him...wow, KCR is a genius.
Please dont repeat the TRS propaganda that Telangana movement was going on for the past 56 years. There was no movement from 1972 to 2004. KCR raised this issue in 2004 because he was sacked as minister from AP cabinet. He used the movement and became a union minister, He did nothing for Telangana for 5 years, but made crores. His party is trounced in 2009 election. Nobody says a word about Telangana when YSR is CM. As soon as he is dead, everyone remembers Telangana?
Telangana guys, your MLA and MP leaders are present day doralu and KCR is the Nizam. He is going to take you back to the "glory" days. Kiss goodbye to HYD...You guys have clearly conveyed that you will behave like Nazis towards folks sharing a common language...imagine how that would look to a potential investor from other states and overseas. Remember, every state is competing for new investments in this globalized economy and HYD loss will be gain of Chennai, Bangalore and Vizag.
Sorry for my sarcastic tone and any offense. I am frustrated with gullibility of people and how they are ruining their own futures for the sole benefit of 3rd rate goondas.
Jai Telangana
Jai Jai Telangana
Telugu guy,
ReplyDeleteAre you another version of Ashok?
Hello Jai Telangana,
ReplyDelete"Telangana" means land where Telugu is spoken which is all of AP. That is probably the reason he refers to the region of Telangana as "Nizam Telangana".
Now go hit your head repeatedly to a wall.
@Manohar
ReplyDelete" hit your head repeatedly to a wall."
we will discuss about ur above sentence later BUT
as an FYI Nizam never ruled Andhra region. Whom are u kidding ? How can you conveniently assume (or i suppose pretending to assume) Nizam Telangana = whole of AP ???
http://kufr.blogspot.com/2006/07/separate-telanganafrom-safe-distance.html
ReplyDeleteBrother Jai Telangana,
ReplyDeleteThis is my understanding of What Nallamotu wrote...
"Nizam Telangana" = Present day Telangana.
Just "Telangana" = All of AP.
Similarly...
"Andhra" = All of AP.
"Coastal Andhra" / "Costa" = Coastal region of AP what we colloquially say 'Andhra'
Hope it is clear now.
To Manohar,
ReplyDeleteI don't think your view regarding
"Telangana= all AP" complies with popular opinion.
It is only a literary meaning and not acceptable for today's scenario.
And,
Andhra= All of AP is equally unacceptable for most telangana people.
If true what is meant by samakhyandhra then?
Your perceptions need to be clarified.
When you try to argue with others be objective and do not waste your time by explaining subjective perceptions. Lest, waste others.
Samikyandhra = Jai Andhra
ReplyDeleteThere is no Telangana in it!!
Probably all they want is the Rayalaseema districts. There are such confused souls!
Andhras,
ReplyDeleteI'm offering you a deal. Lets settle this quickly.
We'll give you Tirupathi and you don't make fuss about Hyd.
Telangana people are not asking for donations made in Tirupathi. See, none of us even mentioned it.
But for the investments you made in Hyderbad, you made manifold profits.
Who is losing here? Telangana.
So, take Tirupathi and go.
Otherwise, we'll have to split Tirupathi as well. After all, we donated too!
correction: not asking for refund of donations made in Tirupathi
ReplyDeleteDammit! If Andhras want their own state, I want my 26 lakhs I deposited in the Tirupathi hundi back!
ReplyDelete@Manhohar
ReplyDeleteAnalysis of Manohar's personality:
" When an arguer argues dispassionately he thinks only of the argument. " - Virginia Woolf
The above quote suits you best. U seem to argue just for the heck of it. The more i read your comments the greater you confuse me and most others here with your baseless assumptions.
Alrite, we shall give you one last chance. If given an opportunity, post one single question (only one)as to why u oppose the formation of telangana. BS* talk of being able to resolve things by staying united will be an exception. We expect you to pose a question and not a suggestion.
Sneha:
ReplyDeleteWill go through the statistics given in that link.
Usually, I am very reluctant to use the data that is given without sources - even when it comes to statistics supporting Telangana cause.
That's also the reason why I don't publish data unless I have personally verified that data.
Thanks.
Tirupathi Reddy:
ReplyDeleteGreat! that you deposited 26 LAKHS of rupees in Tirupati Hundi.
@Jai Telangana
ReplyDeleteNizam never ruled Andhra region
But Nizam's Ruled Andhra region till 1800..British occupied Coastal Andhra between 1750 and later Nizam Seded Rayalaseema region to East India Compeny around 1810.
@Sravan
It is only a literary meaning and not acceptable for today's scenario.
You use history when you need it! but when history doesnt favour you then you talk about Today's Scenario.
@Idler
You didnt answer back about Badhrachalam, Should it be merged back to East Godavari or should it be left as it is with Khammam?
Badhrachalam has no Value compared to Hyderabad, and you couldnt simply say it should be merged back to EG instead you coming up with Links stating that the people of that region wants to remain with Telangana etc...how could you expect people of andhra who have now financially, mentally, emotionally so much connected to Hyderabad would give up like a snap?
Telangana and Andhra are equal in their greed.
ReplyDeleteThe Telangana agitators are opposing of Seperate Hyderabad.
The Andhra-Rayalaseema agitators are opposing seperate Telangana.
People here may argue that geographically United Telangana(Hyderabad included) is the opinion of all the Hyderabad which really is not.
But we dont see any difference in both these agitations.
What Telangana want is Hyderabad's invaluable resource - land and infrastructure as they say that they had their share in that.
Andhra too demands the same as they too have their share in Hyderabad.
Telangana agitators went a step ahead and threaten Andhras to flee away from Hyderabad , though they say its a rush of blood of an angry mob who uttered those words, it IS an inner desire of most of these agitators and not just Andhras they also want domination on Hyderabad which is dominated by Muslims.
We dont want United Telangana, we need a separate Hyderabad state even if its geographically incorrect.
Though the non Muslim Telangana's can live here and do their businesses, we want to rule our own Hyderabad. Hyderabad is our Holy land we can never let it go off to Telangana.
Telangana and Andhra agitators please take heed of my opinion. It genuinely felt by all my Hyderabadi fellows.
Some SANNASI is talking about refund of donations made to Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati. If you want refund, go to Vaikuntam, and talk to Lord Venkateswara directly. People give donations to Lord to get rid of their SINS.
ReplyDeleteSANNASI means person sitting IDLE without brain. Some idiots are bringing Lord Venkateswara into this telangana mess.
"Medhadu lo gujju leni Moragujjulu"
Maoists don't believe in GOD.
You didnt answer back about Badhrachalam
ReplyDeleteI don't have any take on Bhadrachalam. That is the news I've read on it.
If it is in my power to give you Bhadrachalam, I will gladly give it to you!
Happy now?

ReplyDeleteYou use history when you need it! but when history doesnt favour you then you talk about Today's Scenario.
can you cite some of my comments in regards to your claim?
Are you addressing people in the history or present?
Payment for sins is Catholic.
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as payment for sins in Indic descriptions!
People give donations to Lord to get rid of their SINS.
I thought Venkateshwara is/was Hindu Lord. When did he become catholic? Oh Lord! Is the Lord converted too!! Must have happened during YSRs rule!
What is your solution?
ReplyDeleteProvide here: http://advice2ashoka.blogspot.com/2010/01/advide-2-ashoka-regarding-telangana.html
And do you think all the industries that central govt established would have been there in Hyd if the state was not united?
ReplyDeleteYes. Bangalore and Hyderabad and deep within the country - to escape attacks from Pakistan. Coastal areas and areas close to the coast are a huge security risk.
TSR,
ReplyDeleteOfferings to god in hinduism are not solely for getting rid of sins.
Do you know that?
Because of Nizam' rule, some of my telangana friends forgot their VEDIC HINDU tradition of offering "gifts/gold/flowers etc" to HINDU GODS for their prayers.
ReplyDeleteNizam's Muslim rule have affected their brains and stupidly crying about their donations placed in the Tirupati Hundi.
"Prathi thala maasina vaadu HINDUISM gurinchi matlaadadame. Andhuke mee ghorre mohaalu baagu cheyyadaanike, BURUGULA RAMAKRISHNA, telangana ni Andhra lo kalapandi ani vedukunnaadu""

TSR,
ReplyDeleteI would like to add,
even in catholicism donations are not given solely for getting rid of sins.
They have a different option which is confession.
Every relgion states this, confession to god is the only way to get rid of sins.
You are wrong to say payments.
Either you are an atheist or an ignorant.
What is your solution?

ReplyDeleteIf you want refund, go to Vaikuntam, and talk to Lord Venkateswara directly.
This was a saracastic remark against the demand of andhra people for hyderabad(as if they own it). If this applies andhra people have to beg telangana for hyderabad not demand because those andhra people who think they invested in hyderabad already earned their dividends more than their actual share.(Income from hyderabad is more spent in CA than anywhere else other than hyderabad)
People give donations to Lord to get rid of their SINS.
And I again repeat no religion including Hinduism says money offerings will get rid of your sins.
This shows your poor understanding of religion.
You better stay atheist than falsely proclaiming religious fervor.
Maoists don't believe in GOD
mmindless irrevelant crap
Qureshi,
ReplyDeleteI laugh at your analysis.
I realize you are not from hyderabad from what you said. I don't think you are a muslim as suggested by your name.
You are playing dirty tricks here.
Hyderabad city by its geography and historical continuity is part of telangana. Just because 30% muslims live in some parts of hyderabad does not make it a holy place for muslims nor it disconnects hyderabad from telangana.
No one can estimate/calculate, the amount of donations made by Telangana people to Tirupati Temple. So its impossible to split Tirupati!
ReplyDeleteSimilarly, no one can estimate/calculate the amount of effort/investments made by Andhra people in their capital, Hyderabad. So its impossible to split Hyderabad!
Only cool way: "Jai United Andhra Pradesh"
Similarly, no one can estimate/calculate the amount of effort/investments made by Andhra people in their capital, Hyderabad. So its impossible to split Hyderabad!
ReplyDeleteYour analogy is wrong.
Andhra people already redeemed their profits and investments they made in hyderabad.
They are just merchants and nothing else. They will still continue to reep profits from their investments and they can reinvest thier profits any where in India. But only the andhra region will not benefit from the taxes derived from hyderabad(I think this is fair because telangana poorly benefitted from hyderabad revenues in the past and now it will get its actual sahre as the hinterland of the great city)
And no body was asking to split the city. Telangana means all the land and its people including hyderabad and excluding seema-andhra
I again tell you learn about religion first.
No body invests in god. They offer in religious fervor.
You are atheist.
Hyderabad is the heart of Telangana People.
ReplyDeleteHyderabad is the heart of Andhra Padesh People.
Majority wins in Democracy, no matter what. If minority doesn't know, how to win the hearts of majority, no issue will be resolved in Democracy.
Sonia doesn't have the guts to ignore the majority opinion in AP. She will be kicked back to Italy. If KCR is made the CM of AP, he will praise Andhras, its so simple, wake up my friends.
Telangana movement always had militant history.
ReplyDeleteTelangana state will never be achieved with MILITANCY.
Telangana movement always had militant history
ReplyDeleteThis is your opinion. And it does not count at all.
Telangana movement has always been peoples movement.
Majority wins in Democracy, no matter what. If minority doesn't know, how to win the hearts of majority, no issue will be resolved in Democracy
ReplyDeleteMajority of telangana people want a separate state.
Every movement in India is People's movement only. But the question is, what kind of people are we talking about?
ReplyDeletePeople ...Maoists (Publice news)
People ...Revolutionary writers (Virasam Varavara Rao)
People ...Revolutionary singers (Gaddar Band)
People ...Human rights groups (mostly left-wing maoist sympathizers, Haragopal, Balagopal, Sandhya batch)
People ...Students inspired by Maoist's speeches
People ...Students who are highly dependent on Reservations in Government jobs
People ...Unemployed Selfish politicians
The word "People" is like a Maya......all kinds of vested groups are involved and leading it. No wonder, Home Minister, Chidambaram, gave a 45-minute presentation on Maoists taking over Telangana, in the Jan5th all-party meeting. KCR was spellbound in that meeting, when was shown MAOISTs involvement. Governor Narasimhan, also confirmed the MAOISTS involvement in this telangana movement, backing up with intelligence reports. Caught by these reports of NAXALITES involvement, telangana political JAC was red-faced. TRUTH is always BITTER!
GOD knows who is "People" here, and who is brainwashing these "Innocent people"
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteYou are a supremacist bastard Like your original rulers before the independence. It is clear that the center is playing pawn to the andhra powerbrokers.
They knew that power lies with andhra and that is why people in telangana had to resort to agitation.
Center is only trying to tackle the telangana issue with force by interjecting Maoist influence in telangana movement.
It is all the andhra power game that is making the media to show that Maoists are encouraging people.
On the contrary Maoists are more concetrated in nallamalla in andhra region.
Do you remember where these maoists emerged from during the 2004 meeting with govt.?
Sravan:
ReplyDelete--------
Majority wins in Democracy, no matter what. If minority doesn't know, how to win the hearts of majority, no issue will be resolved in Democracy
Majority of telangana people want a separate state.-------
Majority of Vidarba people want a separate state
Majority of Hyderabad people want a separate state.
Majority of Kodagu people want a separate Coorg state.
If we allow, majority of Indians want separate state for their own caste/race/language/religion etc etc
Here majority means, majority of all the stakeholders involved in Integrated Andhra Pradesh.
If Majority of Telangana people want separate state, how come TDP has been winning in Telangana and also a strong cadre-based party in telangana, which represents United Andhra Pradesh for telugu people, till 2009, only exception is that it supported Telangana state separation in 2009 election??
How come TRS-KCR was kicked out of Telangana and greater hyd elections?
Telangana people always voted on development agenda and not on "separate state agenda". Every one knows this truth.
If the telangana sentiment is really that strong all these 60 yrs, then no andhra guy would have invested in telangana and hyderabad. Telangana sentiment means hatred towards andhras (self-rule is a cover-up), do u think knowing that telanganites hate them so much, they would have still invested in hyd and telangana??
Sravan:
ReplyDeleteTruth is always BITTER. So, chill out.
Maoists involvement in Telangana movement is shown with evidence collected by central and state intelligence agencies.
If you want to cry, don't cry on Andhras, but on Narayanan (National security advisor), Narasimhan (Current AP governor) and other agencies. Stop crying over everything and start thinking!!
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteTruth is bitter. I agree and you prove that.
So stop your anonymous cries for now.
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteIn 2004 elections congress and TRS with separate telangana agenda won most seats in telangana.
In 2009 election every party contested with separate telangna agenda.
It is you foolish andhra people who voted for these parties and did not see the agenda of the politicians who were trying to gain soldarity from telangana people wishes.
Anonymous:
ReplyDeleteMaoists involvement in Telangana movement is shown with evidence collected by central and state intelligence agencies.
I would like to see that evidence. May be, you will see the pictures of the school girls and school teachers who were dancing to Bathukamma on the streets protesting for Separate Telangana.
May be, we will see the pictures of poets, artists, professors, bankers, administrators, MLAs, miners, etc, who were protesting for separating Telangana.
I believe they have pictures of 4 crores of Telangana people as Maoists in there.
Sujai,
ReplyDeleteI think the evidence that was presented would be some cranky maoist leader residing in Nallamalla forests in Andhra who certainly got paid by andhra leaders and Media to give a statement in support of telangana one month after the telangana agitations began. Why wasn't this raised during the first phase of the agitations while students and KCR were on fast?
There is no answer for that. They would simply say the intelligence did not get the information. Well we all know who provided the information.
I really could not believe the media would resort to such idiotic publicity.
"I laugh at your analysis.
ReplyDeleteI realize you are not from hyderabad from what you said.."
Sravan,
We give a two hoots on what you realize and on your analysis.
Your demand is no different from Seperate Hyderabad demand. All the logic that you present applies to Separate Hyderabad.
Qureshi,
ReplyDeleteHOw is that?
Do you think hyderabad was neglected?
Sujai:
ReplyDeleteAsk for evidence from the red-faced telangana leaders who attened the all-party Jan5th meething, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Revuri Prakash Reddy, KCR and Jayashankar.
Uttam Kumar Reddy was crying before media that he did his best to convince Chidambaram that Maoists were not involved in this movement. Jana Reddy and Damodar Reddy, were crying foul that Governor has misled the Center on Maoists issue.
Sujai, who cares whether you see the evidence or not. The evidence was collected, sent to Chidambaram by Governor and intelligence agencies, and was shown to the Telangana leaders in the meeting much to their embarassment.
If you still insist on evidence and blah blah, call any TV channel new editor, he will reveal the sources, from where to collect the evidence.
Its very easy to divert the focus from Maoist involvement in the name of "I have to see the evidence to believe". Maoist involvement is shown again and again on TV channels and TV debates.
The statements on the blog like
ReplyDelete1)After 1969 telangana agitation, many students joined NAXALITE movement
2)If telangana is not formed in 2010 also, then lakhs of students will join NAXALITE movement after losing faith in democracy.
These statements are nothing new, they are in the public domain for decades. Its no secret that telangana is a safe-haven for NAXALITES, part of their "DANDAKARANYAM". Governor Narisimhan, is not an idiot, but an experienced top ex-official in top intelligence agencies. So, he has complete knowledge of NAXALITE movement and involvement in telangana.
Its time to accept that NAXALITES are part and parcel of telangana movement. Naxalites have their own agenda to support telangana state, do you they are dumb?

ReplyDeleteAfter 1969 telangana agitation, many students joined naxalite movement
2)If telangana is not formed in 2010 also, then lakhs of students will join naxalite movement after losing faith in democracy.
So you mean telangana separation is a legitimate demand. And andhra people are curbing the democratic right of telangana people.
In 1969 Naxalite movement was very young and not branded terrorist.
NOw it is hard core terrorist brand.
It has no meaning and place in present context.
You are just playing a trick.
So if separate telangana forms THEN ALL ANDHRA STUDENTS SHOULD JOIN NAXALITES.
Infact MAOISTS STRONG ADDA nowadays is NALLAMALLA IN ANDHRA REGION.
I will again remind you that most Naxalites in AP are now resting in Nallamalla.
Don't you remember how these Maoist leaders emerged from Nallamall forests in Guntur to attend meeting with CM in Hyderabad in 2004?
Sravan:
ReplyDelete///////So if separate telangana forms THEN ALL ANDHRA STUDENTS SHOULD JOIN NAXALITES.

////////
With your above logic, Separate Telangana should be stopped so that number of NAXALITES forming will be less because majority of the AP's population is not in favor of telangana state.
Telangana has created one of the finest and bright MAOISTS of this country. Do some background, and find out the roots of the top MAOISTS in their powerful central committee. Kishenji (Koteswara rao), top MAOIST, pain in the ass for bengal CM, isn't he from telangana??
Top MAOISTS of India are from KARIMNAGAR:
Ganapati (general secretary), Koteshwar Rao, Vasav Rao (alias Vasav Raj) and Cherkuri Rajakumar, all are top members of CPI(Maoist) politburo.
Your false propaganda, works with innocent rural telangana people, and not with the educated ones.
Soon, OSMANIA AND KAKATIYA University will be world renowned for producing the world's deadliest NAXALITES.

BJP actively supports Telangana. Does that mean now Hindutva Movement is part and parcel of Telangana movement?
Congress Party, TDP, and Praja Rajyam have clearly endorsed Telangana in their election manifestos. So what do we make of Telangana Movement? A boiling pot of all ideologies?
So, why take an exception to Naxalites supporting this movement?
@Ms.Anonymous:
ReplyDelete"Because of Nizam' rule, some of my telangana friends forgot their VEDIC HINDU tradition of offering "gifts/gold/flowers etc" to HINDU GODS for their prayers."
I wonder whether you have any knowledge on the Vedic scriptures or for that matter on the name of religion prescribed/declared in Vedas. Neither in the Vedas (angas/upanagas) nor in the Ithihasas (called in telugu as Pouranikalu i.e. Ramayana, Mahabharatha etc) along with Upanishads, there is no (compound) term as 'VEDIC HINDU' or for that matter 'VEDIC HINDU-ism'. Please do not cite the texts compiled by English scholars or the so called commentaries. Then you also say 'VEDIC HINDU tradition', there is no such tradition. An example for a vedic tradition is 'the Guru Parampara'.
For your information, the religion which Vedas are attributed to goes under the name of 'Sanaathana Dharma'.
"Nizam's Muslim rule have affected their brains and stupidly crying about their donations placed in the Tirupati Hundi."
Well I am happy, and now having seen you, also feel privileged of being in the Telangana region, where the mentioned Vedic tradition not only survives but is also practiced.
Anonymous:
ReplyDeleteKCR and Jayashankar.
So, are you saying KCR and Jayashankar are naxalites?
Sujai, who cares whether you see the evidence or not.
I do. When you blemish our entire fifty three year struggle by equating it with Naxalism and Maoist Movement, I do care to see the evidence. Because I don’t believe such an evidence exists.
The evidence was collected, sent to Chidambaram by Governor and intelligence agencies, and was shown to the Telangana leaders in the meeting much to their embarassment.
Who says this? There is no credible report to suggest that Telangana leaders were embarrassed to see such evidence. Some hearsay?
I doubt such claims because Colin Powell walked up to the center of UN and handed out photographs of fictitious nuclear weapons in Iraq only to make a false case for invasion of Iraq. In the end, we all know that no nuclear weapons were found in Iraq. There was no gun, only smoke, an artificial one.
I do believe that all this evidence was fabricated with the new governor who has been in place for less than a month.
Maoist involvement is shown again and again on TV channels and TV debates.
So were the pictures of fake nuclear weapons in Iraq. They were telecasted all over the world. Just because the TV channels relay it does not make it true.
Sujai:
ReplyDeleteYou will not believe anything happenning against telangana cause. Your mind is fixated on just onething.
Its OK. I can understand your desperation for telangana state at any cost.
Call your friends in India and Osmania, to find out what happenned in Jan5th meeting, and why all the telangana leaders who attended that meeting tried their best before media to plead that Maoists are not involved in telangana movement??
Whether you believe or not, things move on.
You are talking as if, I discovered a new thing called "Naxalites" in Telangana. You are free to blame TV,media,Governor,Home Minister, Indian system, everything on this planet. But majority of the telugu people and leaders are convinced that Maoists are involved in the movement.
Its already too late, damage has been done, and its all about perceptions that work to convince public. Media did their part, Maoist leaders did their part by giving lectures on telangana on TV, intelligence agencies did their part, gaddar and varavara rao did their part, militant-like Vidyardhi gharjana speeches did their part, and everything worked in tandem to create the impression that Naxalites are deeply involved in this movement.
Home minister Chidambaram is very particular about Naxalites. May be Chidambaram knows more than us, which prompted him to appoint ex-intelligence official as Governor (very successful in crushing naxalites in Chattisgarh).
Blog media is not that effective as Telugu TV media. So, in this case Telugu media wins in projecting naxalite involvement.
To,
ReplyDeleteIdler and Sravan,
I take liberty to shed some knowledge over Bhadrachalam.
@srepen and that Anonymous:the query man on Bhadrachalam:
"despite it being originally in East Godavari District (it was joined to Khammam only after formation of Andhra Pradesh)."
There is no despite as far as BCM prior to reformation of the current AP. However, in 1950s when AP was formed, the villages, namely: kunawaram, venkatapuram, vajedu, peruru, parnasala, etc were unified with the then Khammam district. This list of villages are appended to already existing Bhadrachalam, which is the then Hyderabad state.
I know your greed in this regard. But, even if you adjoin that appended-region into ASS border, you will only get the river Godavari after it leaves TS.
@srepen:
"Same applys for Hyderabad Idler. It was developed by people and rulers of Andhra, and Rayalaseema as well so they can claim according to your wise thoughts"
I took the term 'applys' as 'applies'.
May I know based on which application of Modus ponens you give this conclusion. Is it by induction? If not is it by theorem proving? All I can see is no more than a dogmatic extrapolation. Do you mean to imply that Hyderabad was at par with likes of the villages of kunawaram, venkatapuram, vajjedu, peruru, parnasala at the time of AP formation in 1956?
A counter example to the ignorant (if they have any proof): The AP assembly building (@Hyderabad) in use even today was built in early 1900s. This building was built from contributions by Telangana people alone.
Sujai:
ReplyDeleteBJP is very interested in the Telangana state, because majority of muslims of AP will be in telangana state.
In the new telangana state, its very easy to create tensions between hindus and muslims, and try another Godhra-like experiment in telangana. Using those fears, BJP will be in power in telangana state for next 20-30 yrs, happily like in gujarat.
No party is doing social service and charity here, every party got its own agenda. No one is really cared about telangana self-respect, telangana development etc etc
*Blog media is not that effective as Telugu TV media. So, in this case Telugu media wins in projecting naxalite involvement.
ReplyDeleteThat explain the hideous happiness:-)
Do we care if Naxalites support Telangana? For that matter they have been supporting Telangana for the last 10 years. Did that make some of the Telanganites go and join naxals? But I heard(from your favored media) they are pretty much prevailing in some other area now where people are opposing Telangana.
Every one wants to get a pie of the Telagana credit. Naxalaites are also not lagging behind.
In the new telangana state, its very easy to create tensions between hindus and muslims, and try another Godhra-like experiment in telangana. Using those fears, BJP will be in power in telangana state for next 20-30 yrs, happily like in gujarat
